In Braun series 5, the heads are cleaned using the self-cleaning system.
The self-cleaning system, named as clean and renew consists of a plastic
holding stand with a canister at the bottom.
The canister stores the cleaning fluid, which washes the heads and the foil
as soon as you are done shaving. All you need to do is hang the shaver upside
down on its cleaning stand. The clean and renew refills has two types for
all Braun series. These are clean and renew refills CCR 2 and clean and
renew refills CCR 3.
The Clean and renew refill CCR 3 for Braun shaver parts consist of 2 cartridges.
It is compatible with series 7, pulsonic, prosonic and active power. The
CCR 3 contains three cartridges and are compatible with similar models.
All models have a battery life that last 50 minutes. The latest Braun model
is the series Braun 7-790cc. This model has the best features of the Braun
series 5 and is also equipped with pulsonic technology, which vibrates your
skin to make your whiskers stand on their end. Series 7 are available in
three models, namely the 720, 760cc and 790cc.
720 does not feature the cleaning system and the LCD screen. The 760cc has
the LED charging indicator but does not have the LCD and fast clean, while
the 790cc has all features. The casing replacement is only available for
series 7, pulsonic, prosonic and active power for models 790cc, 9595 and
9795. And the only available color is transparent.
Also for series 7, pulsonic, prosonic and active power, one of the Braun
shaver parts is a cleaning toothbrush which is transparent blue. To keep
your Braun shaver up-to-date, every six months or so, you should get those
replacement part.
